We're Eric and Nikki Bass, the proud owners of Eagles Portable Golf Sims!

For the past 31 years, we've built our life together around faith, family, hard work, and making memories. We've proudly called Fritch, Texas, home for the last 25 years, and we're excited to bring a unique entertainment experience to our community and beyond.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are blessed with six amazing children:

We started Eagles Portable Golf Sims because we wanted to create something that brings people together. Whether it's a birthday party, wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, school function, or community festival, our goal is simple: help people laugh, compete, and make unforgettable memories.

⛳ Why We Started Eagles Portable Golf Sims

Every business has a story. This is ours.

More than 30 years ago, Ronnie and Mary Morrison, Nikki's parents, introduced Eric to the game of golf. After Eric graduated from college, they gave him his very first set of golf clubs—a gift that still means so much to our family. In fact, those same clubs are now being used by our son, Ryan.

Together with Ronnie and Mary, Eric was fortunate enough to play beautiful courses in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Cloudcroft, New Mexico, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

As life became busier, golf became harder to fit in. Between raising six children, building careers, and earning his master's degree, finding four or five hours for a round of golf just wasn't realistic.

Mary introduced Eric to the joy of Par 3 golf—proof that you don't need an entire day to enjoy the game. Those shorter rounds helped keep his love for golf alive during the busiest years of life.

Eric always hoped one of the kids would catch the golf bug, but year after year...no takers.

Then one day, Emily decided to give it a try.

That changed everything.

Father-daughter trips to the golf course became something they both looked forward to. Golf wasn't just about playing anymore—it became about spending meaningful time together. Slowly, Ryan started joining them and learning the game of golf as well.

That's when Eric realized something.

The reason he had stepped away from golf wasn't that he stopped loving the game—it was because he didn't want it to take time away from the people he loved most.

That realization became the foundation of Eagles Portable Golf Sims.

Our mission is simple:
Bring golf to the people instead of making people leave their families to find golf.

Whether it's a birthday party, wedding, school event, fundraiser, corporate gathering, church event, or community festival, we want families and friends to laugh, compete, and create memories together—without spending an entire day at the golf course.

Because for us, golf has never just been about the game.

People.

At the heart of Eagles Portable Golf Sims, it's never just been about golf—it's about the people we meet and the memories we get to be a part of.

One of our favorite things is hearing everyone's stories. Every event brings new faces, new laughs, and new connections.

We love watching someone pick up a golf club for the very first time just as much as we love watching an experienced golfer crush a 250-yard drive.

We love seeing a dad give his child a few swing tips, friends cheering each other on, grandparents competing with grandkids, and coworkers discovering their competitive side.

But more than anything...

We love the smiles.

The laughter after a missed shot.
The excitement of an unexpected great drive.
The high-fives.
The friendly competition.
The memories being made.

That's why we do what we do.

Meet the People Behind the Swing

Eric Bass - owner

Eric is an Occupational Therapist at Amarillo Bone & Joint by day. When he's not helping patients, you'll usually find him on the golf course, casting a fishing line, or dreaming about his next round of golf.

Eric books events, contacts customers, and knows the ins and outs of the simulator. He created the projection system container that makes our simulator a little different - it is suspended from the top of the unit. This makes it easier to move around in the unit. He also sets it all up and takes it down. He can answer any question you have about the business.

Nikki Bass - co owner

Nikki is an Educational Diagnostician at Dumas ISD who loves helping students succeed. In her free time, she enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with family.

Nikki runs the behind-the-scenes operations - media content such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, as well as the website. She takes pictures during events as well. She assists in many other aspects as well.
